The great depression was a time when it was all sad and depressing because of all the people losing money, jobs, food, and crops.

Lots of people died during the great depression. They died cause of all the dust making them loose all their food and if you had not food or house you could die by hunger or by getting a sickness.
The Great Depression started in 1929 to 1941
Homeless people built their own shelter.
Hunger was so important people lined up for free meals that were givin out.
The “Three Little Pigs“—released May 27, 1933, and produced by Walt Disney—was seen as symbolic of the Great Depression, with the wolf representing the Depression and the three little pigs representing average citizens who eventually succeeded by working together.
Between 1930 and 1935, nearly 750,000 farms were lost through bankruptcy or sheriff sales.
